About me
I am Eva
I find joy in treating my friends with special dishes. Not only cooking, but also photography has a calming effect on me, so I started taking photos of the dishes I prepare. This is how it all started.
Spring edition
Főzőfutam fűszeres napokra!
A recipe book for busy women and men, and a journey back in the old days.
My ethnographic background has left
me with a love and respect for the traditions of bygone eras, and my interest in literature has left me with an admiration for other worlds.
Gastronomic thoughts from the beginning of the 20th century:
“We eat so we can love…”
“Eat with feeling, sensually, with imagination, with passionate love.”
“…I’m not the wife to like the same foods
and prepared the same way.”

Palocsay Johanna - interview Maszol
Éva Borbély is still getting used to being called a food blogger, as her background is in ethnography. Yet, she considers the kitchen her true kingdom, where the wooden spoon serves as her magic wand.

Kiss Judit - interview Krónika
“Women have much less time for kitchen tasks, while their attention is scattered in a thousand directions. That’s why I thought this book could also help those who, in today’s fast-paced world, are looking for practical advice, ideas, and easy-to-make recipes.”

Szabó-Kádár Henrietta - Szabadság
“Want to cook something delicious, quick, and easy? No time to go shopping, but dinner still needs to make it to the table? Don’t feel like ordering in, yet don’t want to spend hours by the stove either? Éva Borbély now helps us with these questions not only through her articles in Szabadság newspaper, but also through this book.”
